One of the things that defines PodCampNYC is the community atmosphere. People sharing information, making contacts and getting together in ways no one expected. Ideas and projects can evolve and grow because of those different abilities to communicate and connect.

To that end there is a PodCampNYC community over on the Ning platform. This allows anyone interested in PodCampNYC to create a profile and participate in forums as well as sharing media and documents.

Some uses for the network:

When PodCamp 2.0 is over, that will also be a great place to make sure others can find the images, audio and video you may have captured while you were there.

• If you are speaking, make your notes and slides available before or after your session. help people get the information you want to distribute.
• If you are unsure of exactly what questions you can help your audience with, then by all means communicate with them in a forum thread and find out!
• Even if you aren't planning on speaking, feel free to ask those who are questions and make comments ahead of time so that the information you need can be covered if possible.
